Associate Attorney-Litigation

1-4 year associate to provide litigation, business, real estate, and other types of law to firm's clients, who range from small, privately owned businesses to major corporations. We pride ourselves in being a firm that is widely diverse and able to provide personalized services to large and small clients within the construction industry. We expect our associates to carry on this role.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the Southern California construction industry. The position is focused around client problem solving and relationship building. The firm is more interested in providing quality legal services than just billing hours. The successful candidate will be prepared to provide their best work at all times. The successful candidate must be personable, enthusiastic and be willing to do whatever is necessary to achieve the firm's goals. You will be asked to participate in trade group activities and firm marketing activities. These activities may require entertaining clients during evenings and weekends.

As an attorney, you will speak to professional trade groups on contracts and construction law topics, and may be asked at times to interpret the law, provide legal advice and prepare legal documents. You will develop a working knowledge of construction law and will represent clients in court. Active California Bar admission is required. Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii or Guam Bar admissions are a plus.

The firm environment is one where attorneys are challenged and mentored from within. However, the successful candidate must have outstanding legal researching & writing skills as well as the ability to 'think on one's feet'.
